Cheesy my ass! This is the balls of cantopop! This is Sam Hui, one of the best of the genre! I actually understand this because I'm Chinese...
This actor had one of the most awesome car chases of all time (I'll post it on oppo sometime, it's a must-see for any car enthusiast) involving a decked out stealth-like Volkswagen bug and a rolls Royce with missiles. Look up the movie mad mission.

Not bad cheesy, good cheesy.
I'm not infatuated too much with my own culture, so to me this song's a feel good CNY thing. Sam Hui is a badass though.
Ever hear of Danny Chan?

No I haven't, but I looked him up. He seems to be on par with hui. Have you watched Fight Back to School with Stephen chow, ng-man tat and Barry Wong?

Stephen Chow's the guy in Shaolin Soccer right?

Yes...that movie is also great. A distant relative on my dad's side, Barry Wong, wrote the script for Fight back to school.

That's pretty awesome. I don't recall seeing it, but maybe my parents have heard of it. It is nice to make Cantonese movie references once a while.
